Description
Nubra valley is the northern most part of Jammu and Kashmir in India. Situated about 150 Kilometers from Leh {capital of Ladakh), the most common way to access this valley is to travel over the Khardung La pass from Leh. Nubra valley has an average altitude of about 10000 feet above the sea level.
It is a broad valley with lofty Himalayas on all sides, many small streams, white sand dunes of Hunder and one can spot the tourists riding the two-humped Bactrian camels while enjoying the picturesque view.
