Durga Puja is an Indian festival where Goddess Durga is worshipped. Durga is the concept of ultimate "Shakti" or ultimate power inherent in all creation.

The photograph was taken by me a few years back and has now been digitally manipulated using Photoshop CS6.

The urge to sketch, draw and paint has been there since childhood and I loved every minute of the time spent on drawing and painting. But, to take up painting as a full time career, was considered nothing short of fiddling on the roof. And maybe, in some sense it is true, particularly when there are practicalities of life to deal with. After two decades of a "real" job as a banker, I decided to quit banking and follow my heart, finally.
