In Ganapatipule, a camel and camel driver are walking along the beach early in the morning, hoping to get tourists, who would want a camel ride!
Ganapatipule is a town on the Konkan coast of western India. It attracts tourists for both religious reasons - as there is a Ganapati temple right on the beach - as well as those who just come to enjoy the pristine beaches.
This photograph was taken sometime in February this year. It has been modified using Photoshop CS6.
The urge to sketch, draw and paint has been there since childhood and I loved every minute of the time spent on drawing and painting. But, to take up painting as a full time career, was considered nothing short of fiddling on the roof. And maybe, in some sense it is true, particularly when there are practicalities of life to deal with. After two decades of a "real" job as a banker, I decided to quit banking and follow my heart, finally.
