Title
Konkan series - A Road to Nowhere
Artist
Uma Krishnamoorthy
Medium
Painting - Acrylic On Paper With Palette Knife
Description
The Art Society of India had organized a plein air painting tour at Devrukh, Sangameshwar and Ratnagiri – all on the Western Ghats of India. A few artists including me, participated in this tour.
Devrukh in the Konkan region is a quiet town with lush greenery, clean air and cool, pleasant mornings and evenings in February.
“A Road to Nowhere” is the painting of a winding road in Devrukh…..the kind of road where its destination does not seem important.
It has been painted on location, using Acrylic with palette knife on Canson heavy weight paper.
