Painting - Acrylic On Canvas Board With Palette Knife
Description
A few of us from the "Art Society of India" travelled to Jaisalmer for landscape painting en plein air.
Jaisalmer is a city in the north of India, in the state of Rajasthan. It is known as the "Golden city" because all of its architecture is made of yellow sandstone and all of them are exquisitely sculptured. It is situated in the heart of the Thar desert.
Gadisar lake was the only source of water for the Jaisalmer city in the olden days. Considering its importance, many small temples, shrines, Chattris, and Ghats were constructed around it, transforming it into a pilgrimage centre and a tourist attraction.
